Natália Kelly «Shine»
Natália Kelly, representante austriaca, será la encargada de abrir la primera semifinal y el gran espectáculo musical europeo del Festival de Eurovisión 2013 que se emitirá en directo desde Mälmo el próximo 14 de mayo.
La representante de Austria tuvo que medirse con varios candidatos en el programa Österreich Rockt den Song Contest 2013 que se retransmitió en directo desde este blog. A pesar de la excelente interpretación de su principal rival en las votaciones, Yela, Natália Kelly se impuso por una diferencia de 20 puntos.
Con apenas 18 años, esta artista de orígenes americano y brasileño lleva a sus espaldas numerosas actuaciones y competiciones durante más de 10 años en el mundo de la música. Sin embargo será «Shine», la canción que llevará al festival, su primer single de un álbum que verá la luz al tiempo que su participación en el concurso.

Jurados de todo el mundo se han rendido a su voz y a sus dotes como pianista. Su tono de voz único le confieren unos toques que rozan una mezcla entre el pop y el Rithm and Blues. La canción «Shine» está producida por un famoso compositor de numerosos éxitos en Austria, Alexander Kahr, que mezcla varias experiencias, tanto las raíces de su país como elementos internacionales para crear lo que pretendía, una promesa de futuro.
En palabras de Natália sobre su participación en el Eurovision Song Contest 2013, dice que es un honor y un gran placer representar a su país en un concurso de la categoría internacional de Eurovision, que es una oportunidad para cualquier cantante tanto para su experiencia musical como para crecer a nivel personal.
