EUROVISION 2008- Iceland- Islandia-

Tras un proceso de selección realizado en Septiembre del año pasado en Islandia, los ganadores para representar al país en el Festival de Eurovisión fueron Euroband, un grupo musical compuesto por Friðrik Ómar y Regína Ósk.

Friðrik Ómar ha trabajado con numerosos artistas musicales de su país y ha sacado dos álbumes al mercado con gran éxito. Colaboró con la Orquesta Sinfónica de Islandia en “La Guerra de Los Mundos”.

Regína Ósk ha participado en el musical “La tienda de los horrores” donde conoció a Selma Björnsdottir, concursante del Festival de Eurovisión en los años 1999 y 2005. La propia Regína ha participado más de una vez en el concurso como corista en 2001, 2003 y 2005 y ahora es su gran momento de dar un paso al frente.
